我是千千万万个男孩中的一个，尽管从跌跌撞撞到现在才12个年头，打开回忆的大门，回头看一看，也经历过大大小小的挫折。最让我刻骨铭心的，还是我读一年级时的第一次演讲，现在回想起来，还真是别有一番滋味。
我的第一次演讲，是在一年级升旗议式上。记得当时我面对全校同学，走上演讲席的台阶，心里象压着一块大石头，浑身不自在。拿着演讲书，感觉手在发抖，头脑一片空白。毕竟，这是第一次演讲，当我走到话筒面前的时候，这种慌张的感觉更加明显，当时真想回头走下台，如果地下有个坑的话，我宁愿跳下去。站在台下的班主任老师看得出我很紧张，示意我勇敢点、别紧张，我只好咽下这口气，大胆地把整个演讲讲完。
短短10分钟不到，时间好象停止了流动，现场只有我的声音，一种带哭腔的声音，周围一片寂静。中间几次停顿，甚至读错字，但是毕竟读完了，而且迎来热烈的掌声。我终于松了口气，感觉上午8点钟的阳光是如此明媚，让人舒服。班主任老师望着我满头大汗，一副狼狈相，向我伸出大拇指，看得出是在鼓励我。但我注意到当时老师那种诡秘的微笑，分明是在说我：“一个男子汉，干嘛胆子这么小”。现在想起来，真丢人。
从此以后，尽管每次演讲我仍然紧张，但一次比一次轻松。经历了数次挫折，才感觉在同学面前读我的演讲稿是如此有胜利感，这也许是战胜困难后，上天给我的克服困难，坚持到底。

我微笑着自信地走上了舞台。一上台，我就好象置身于一池碧水中，身体变得那么地舒展，跳的每一个动作都是那么娴熟而自然。那音乐如潺潺的溪水，镁光灯也如和煦的暖阳。我的舞姿尤如一只傲气的白天鹅在湖面上游动；又象一缕纯洁的阳光，干净而温暖；更象一朵蓬勃的向日葵，正努力地向上生长。最后，我在观众们的掌声中退了场。作文
